I was totally absorbed with the story because it has all the qualities that I look for in a story...adventure, mystery, and romance. Definitely a real page-turner to the end. I would recommend this book and will be watching for Allene Frances' next novel. Customer Rating: Summary: Tenderness, tension, and excitement. I loved the dog. Comment: This book reminded me of the old Victoria Holt, Phyliss Whitney books. Lots of foggy coast intrigue, it even had an old diary that revealed long hidden secrets. I hated for it to end.
