Customer Rating: Summary: refreshiment in Paris Comment: This deceptive book delighted me.... it is the perfect accompaniment to dreaming, with a coffee in a quiet corner of the garden, about your next visit to this beautiful city on the Seine.
It is small, and shows small places of rest and beauty in the bustling city, though the photographs and the text create a huge impression, which will challenge even those very familiar with Paris streets to return and to enjoy themselves in further discovery of its history.
Customer Rating: Summary: Nice little book but pictures aren't that inspiring. Comment: I was looking forward to photos that would wet my appetite; that were unique and made me long to go back to Paris. They were neither unique nor inspiring. An interesting little book but if I were in a book store and leafing through it, I would have past.
Customer Rating: Summary: Just my style Comment: These are the kind of experiences I seek on every vacation. But I only have a week in Paris so thank you so much for doing the "leg work" for me.
Customer Rating: Summary: Dull Comment: To say that this is a little dull is an understatement . the quiet corners are DEAD .
Customer Rating: Summary: Paris of my dreams Comment: A charming book that will lead you to places known to seasoned and local Parisians. Not the run of the mill tourist spots. You will become part of "secret Paris".

More than eighty of the loveliest, most tranquil, and sometimes hidden places in Paris are celebrated in this charming guidebook
Quiet Corners of Paris is a beautifully illustrated peek into eighty-one often overlooked, always beautiful, locales: hidden villas, winding lanes, little-known 19th-century passages, serene gardens, and cobblestone courtyards. Some of the places have breathtaking views, others are filled with historic and architectural details, from stone archways, garden follies, boxwood mazes, ornamental statuary, stained glass, and Renaissance fountains. Follow a stone path under a trellis of blossoms or wander through a gate to discoverÉ
