Customer Rating: Summary: PLEASE RELEASE THIS MOVIE TO NTSC DVD! I've been waiting since 1997! Comment: I bought my first DVD back in 1997. I soon built a list of movies I had to have, and this movie was one of them.
Every few months I check to see if the movies I'm looking for, are finally put on the DVD list. This one finally made the list. Now if the studio executives would finally release this movie to DVD! Perhaps they need lots of good reviews from customers. That's why I've put in my review.
If you want this movie on DVD... then add a review of it!
Customer Rating: Summary: Love This Little Gem !!!Put on DVD please !!!! Comment: This is a silly, quirky, little gem of a movie and I love it.If I hadn't copied my vhs version to a blank dvd it would now be impossible to watch because I would have worn it out.
Someone is knocking off the great chefs of Europe using
the specialty that made them famous.I.E.,pressed duck =
skull crushed in a duck press.
Jacqueline Bisset plays a chef who's specialty is pastry
cooking. She along with several other chefs were chosen as the best chefs by a food critic played to the hilt by
the absolutely delightful rotund Robert Morley.
George Segal plays Bissets adulterous ex-husband who is a
fast food king and desperately wants to get Bisset back.
As the movie unfolds, each chef on the list is being killed and the last is going to be Bisset. The search is on
for the killer. It is an hilarious romp.I especially loved
Robert Morley as the insufferable British food critic. He asks his assistant to take a letter to the Queen stating
that if she( the queen) has forgiven his family for introducing Wallace Simpson to her uncle King Edward then a nice payment would be the island of Barbados.
If your looking for an enjoyably funny movie, then this
fits the bill.
