Summary: Not so great.
Comment: The helmet is okay, except for the strap to go under the chin. It does not have a seat for the chin or that area. So the strap which is nylon by the way, will be quite uncomfortable.
The set only comes with one set of pads, not two sets as shown on the picture, which can either be used as elbow or knee pads. The pads also cannot fit securely on the elbow or knee and will slip around. the nylon straps also squeeze the limbs and leave impressions on your skin.
Not recommended.

Summary: Doesn't fit the kid I bought it for
Comment: I got this for my 3-year-old to go with the new bike she got for Christmas, but the helmet is too small for her. The elbow and knee pads fit fine, but I have to get her a different set ASAP. It's a good thing I have a younger daughter to hand it down to in brand-new condition. It's cute, and seems to be well-made, so the 1-year-old will be able to use it for at least a year or so.

Summary: My daughter loves this, plus it's well made and fits wonderfully.
Comment: I got this for my daughter, as her brother just passed down his scooter to her and she needed some safety equipment... this set has everything! And it's a great way to encourage girlie-girls to get outside and be active, because they can wear all pink and princess-themed things and still be involved with skating / riding scooters / etc.
It is well made, and has fully adjustable straps on everything. However, I am giving this product 4 out of 5 stars because the helmet is almost too small ~ I had to take out the extra pads on the sides to make it fit her head (maybe she just has a big head??). Maybe for a younger or smaller child it would fit perfectly with the included pads.

Comment: I got this set for my niece for her 2nd birthday to go with the matching Disney Princess 12" bike. Everything is so cute. My niece loved the helmet and couldn't wait to put it on. She kept saying "helmet, helmet." She hasn't had any falls yet (hopefully never) so I can't say for sure how well they work but they seem like they'd do the job if needed.

She'll be safe and adorable in this colorful Disney-themed bicycle gear for toddlers. The value pack includes a pink bike helmet and matching purple and pink knee and elbow pads adorned with Disney princesses Cinderella, Snow White, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. The hardshell helmet, approved the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is made of tough ABS plastic (the same material used to make motorcycle helmets) and lined with EPS foam padding designed to hug the head and absorb impact should she take a fall. The helmet also features a built-in visor to protect young eyes and several large air vents to prevent overheating. The knee and elbow pads are made of soft, comfortable nylon and have durable plastic shells on the outside to guard against bumps and scrapes. The pads secure in back of knees or elbows with two Velcro tabs.
