Customer Rating: Summary: Professional Mic Comment: VERY sturdy with almost no handling noise, the best gain before feedback, and beautiful clear sound. Does NOT come with XLR to 1/4" cable :)
Customer Rating: Summary: Shure Beta 58A used-as good as new Comment: I had my eye on a beta 58a for some time. Being a frequent shure sm58 user I wondered what advantages a beta would have compared to the sm. A friend of mine was kind enough to lend me one, so I tried it out during a gig. The difference was amazing: my voice sounded much clearer, more powerful and the beta had much higher output than de sm. The price was what kept me from buying the beta right away. Now I got one "used but as good as new" through amazon sold by music and film. The beta was indeed as good as new, or should I just say "new", works great and the shipment was fast.
Customer Rating: Summary: Yea, and amen... Comment: I purchased 5 of these for my worship team vocalists to replace some old beat-up Behringer mics. I flattened the EQs on the mixer, and BAM! we have clean, punchy vocals without the mud, and the feedback is gone. Nice tight pickup pattern and very rugged. Worth every penny...
Customer Rating: Summary: Beta 58A, nuff said Comment: If you actually need a review to figure out the quality of a Beta 58A, then you're just better off calling one of your friends who really knows what they're doing and asking them. SM58 is the baseline industry standard and gives good response. Beta 58 builds on that, adding a little more low and a lot more high. If you've been using really cheap gear and you pick up one of these, the first thing you'll notice is that you just enjoy singing with it. It has a nice bass rolloff and proximity effect that lets you get much different sounds, all of the nice, depending on how close the mic is to your mouth.
Great mic, and Amazon usually has a great price, depending on who the resellers are.
Customer Rating: Summary: Can't believe the price! Comment: In these days when the beta 58 counterfeits are rampant, I was pleased to see that these were the real deal. Brand-new, untouched, and shipped very quickly. Way below the competitors' prices.
