Summary: Not as exciting as I thought they would be...
Comment: I think these used to be advertised as the blades from "Bloodrayne", because I specifically remember buying these for that reason. However, if you've played the games or even seen the movie you know these aren't the same blades. I knew that too, but I thought they looked really cool in the pictures anyway. If you want a real replica you'll have to find it elsewhere.
Don't get me wrong the price is really cheap and you should realize that when purchasing these. I've been collecting swords and weapons for quite some time now and these are probably the lowest quality items in my collection. Naturally you get what you pay for and if you want something cool for twelve dollars then this is exactly what you want. The steel isn't the highest quality steel you'll find, naturally that is reflected in the price.
Sounds like I knew what I was getting... so why the low rating? I don't know, something just seems too shoddy. Maybe it's the fact I had to put the handle on myself? Or the velcro strap that just seemed/looked silly to me? If you think the image looks cool and that's exactly what you're looking for then you won't be disappointed, but to me these didn't feel like fully imposing weapons. They really don't feel that way when you hold them. Granted you could never use these in a battle realistically, but, even then, it should at least give off some presence and I just don't think these accomplish that.
Furthermore these just aren't designed well enough that even make them worth putting on display. The blade looks cool, but the plastic on the handles throws it off. Who wants a weapon with a velcro strap attached to plastic on display? I really don't. Again, if you just want a cheap weapon to show off... then the price is right for you, but serious weapons collectors should avoid, especially if display is an important factor to you.

Comment: If these are the Bloodrayne replicas, I weep for the series. However, these are quite a fun purchase, as they seem sturdy enough to actually do some damage. Putting them together when I opened the boxes was a surprise, and while it was tedious trying to put them together with the low-quality allen wrenches provided that strip quickly, it was fun in the sense that you have something to do with the manufacture of your weapons. The handle and arm rest are both plastic, although they seem to be a higher quality plastic than normally found on weapons priced similarly. However, the tacky part is the poorly made velcro (yes, VELCRO) straps that hold the blade onto your arm. My advice: get two thin leather belts you don't mind cutting up, and make your own arm straps. The handle works well, though, and they look wicked when you have them on. If you can find them locally, buy them in a pair if you have some spare cash. Otherwise, don't spend the money it takes to have them shipped to you.

Comment: Firstly, for any of you who are even fimiliar with the Bloodrayne titles (which you should be if you are looking at these)there is no reason why you would want to look like that guy from Mortal Kombat if you buy these. Second, these swords are "trash metal" and are not good for anything other than decoration. Unless you go to the ressisance festival or are just really into Bloodrayne then dont get these.

Comment: Any "sword" you may find under $100 are basically made out of "trash metals", which can be chopped out by real knife at similar price. Although they may have sharpened edges, metals like 420J stainless steel are too soft for working blade; such metals are usually used for cheap kitchen knives.
Some sellers comment on such cheap swords something like "battle-ready" or "fully-working edge", but in fact, they are purely for decoration purposes no matter the edges are sharpened or not. If you need a cheap, working blade for some reason, it is better idea to get a camping machette. (Of course such swords can still be very dangerous anyway, but do not expect any miracle from the cheap metals. They are nothing more than toy.)
