Summary: Two failed in two weeks
Comment: Purchased two. Hung both. Used once. Went to use them again in two weeks and spings on both had failed, even though fully retracted.
I do not recommend this product.

Comment: We purchased this clothesline for a space under 40 feet. When the line is out for any length under 40 feet it is not taut, so when you put the clothes on it it falls to the ground. We are returning this clothesline.

Summary: Sturdy product, quite large
Comment: This is the sturdiest clothesline we've ever purchased. The line is thick and strong, the tension holds (rather than droops, like some other clotheslines) and is easy to put away. It is, however, quite large. We live in an apartment, so it is quite visible on our 12-ft balcony. A better fit for a larger, outdoor space, I think. But still works great in a smaller space.

Summary: I does it job and keep HOA's happy.
Comment: It seems to work well. I can hang about 2 medium size loads of laundry on it and since it is 1 line they get dry rather quickly in the Oklahoma heat. I though why pay for the energy of a dryer when it is 102 outside. Heavy wet towels do make the plastic line droop but a little tightening before the next load and it is good to go. I love that it hides away when you're done since I live in a HOA temporary ones are the only kind we can have in our yards. It does it job.
