Comment: My chiropractor recommended this product for muscle and joint pain and gave me some free samples to try. I was very skeptical, as I have never used a topical ointment that really worked. I have Psoriatic Arthritis and it effects your joints, connective tissue, as well as muscles. This has helped tremendously. Even taken pain completely away, in most cases.

Comment: Biofreeze is an excellent product. If they needed anyone for a commercial I would do it. You rub it on with a roll-on twice a day (morning when you get up and evening before you go to sleep) and it lessens the pain in my neck area. GREAT STUFF!!

Comment: I've heard a lot about this product so I thought I'd give the roll-on bottle a try- and boy does it live up to its name!
Biofreeze is a form of cryotherapy, which basically means cold therapy. It contains a natural menthol, so I feel like its a pretty safe product to use. I'm guessing this product works by stimulating the large diameter nerves that carry the cool sensation- thereby blocking pain which is carried on small diameter nerves. Other forms of (cryo)therapy that use this principle include TENS units, spray and stretch, and plain old ice.
I consider Biofreeze Gel 3 Oz. ROLL-ON - Best Value - Do the math ! useful for minor aches and pains that we all get now and then, although if you have a consistent problem, it would probably be good to get at the cause as Biofreeze mainly treats symptoms temporarily.
With a 2 year shelf-life and roll-on applicator, its just perfect for throwing in your gym bag and using as needed. Also recommend The 5-Minute Plantar Fasciitis Solution for those who need additional options to treat their plantar fasciitis.

Comment: The roll-on applies faster and easier in hard to reach areas when you don't have help. The scent really does vanish quick (30 to 45 mins.).

Summary: Soothes Sore Back and Neck Pain!
Comment: I suffer from chronic migraines and they often leave me with a stiff and very sore neck and back. One of my friends gave me some bio freeze samples to try and I absolutely loved it! It really helped soothe the pain and unlike the icyhot type of products in stores, the smell vanished very quickly and the gel wasn't greasy. I would definitely reccomend this product to anyone who suffers from migraines and knows how bad the neck and back pain associated with them is.

Roller application of the gel affords a number of unique features that can enhance the effectiveness and convenience of this application process. The roller application allows the clinician or patient to apply the product without getting product on their hands. This can be most convenient for the older patient in applying product to hard to reach places or for someone in the workplace who must apply product during the workday. The roller application is also very beneficial in stimulating trigger points either through treatment in the office or with instruction to the patient on self-massage of these points
