Comment: THE ORACLE CPAP MOUTH MASK IS WONDERFUL.IT'S GREAT FOR PEOPLE WHO SLEEP AND BREATH THROUGH THEIR MOUTH. THE FULL MASK I HAVE IS SOMETHIMES BOTHERING AND SMOTHERING. I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS MASK. GREAT PRODUCT AND FAST SHIPPING.

Summary: Non-confining Mask
Comment: This Oracle Oral mask is perfect for those who cannot stand having the full-face mask on or can only breath through their mouth. The later reason is the reason I first bought this mask. My severe nasal problems give me 0% air through my nasal passages. I had to wear a full-face mask at 20 cfm or could use this at 14 cfm. It does take a while to get use too. You wear it like a scuba regulator. The mouth piece has two levels, one that you take into the mouth that seals on the inner checks and one that lies on the face and seal against the outer checks. And it does work. You also need to have no facial hair for this to work correctly. The instructions say that the headgear strap is optional; I found this to be a requirement. If you wear glasses you will love this for you can wear them while this is on. And nothing is in your field of vision so you can also wear it while you read.
The down side for me was that the inner seal would actually stick to my gums and inner cheeks and dry out my mouth completely. The first couple of times this happened it was quite painful. I cannot use this without a working heated humidifier. As long as the humidifier had water in it, the mask worked fine for me. The problem is, the humidifier would run dry after about four hours. So in order to be comfortable and not have the pain upon removing the mask, I would have to wake up and refill the humidifier every four hours. I eventually found it not worth the loss of sleep and effort. For I have trouble sleeping to start with. Once I fall a sleep I do not need the equipment that is suppose to be of aid waking me up.
I no longer use it and am trying out a new mask. But it is worth giving it a try if you are not able to wear a full mask or the nasal pads. You might find out you will not have the dry mouth problem or can have the humidifier run at a lower level so it will last all night.

The Oracle should only be used with Heated Humidification. Unlike many facial masks, the Oracle can be worn with dentures and glasses, causes fewer skin abrasions and creates less leakage.
