Comment: This dryer is awesome! I have really thick hair and never had the patience to wait for it to totally dry so always left the house in the morning with "wet head". Now it is completly dry in less time!

This hairdryer worked great in Italy, I didn't need to change any voltage setting onthe dryer itself. All I needed was a plug adapter and to remember to run the dryer on low. Even on low it dryed my hair fairly quick, especially considering I have long thick hair. Light weight too, definately a good buy.

Summary: Sparks, even after a replacement unit
Comment: I bought this item to take to Vietnam to utilize the dual voltage feature. When I was drying my hair, I noticed a white spark coming from the handle of the unit when I would shut it off. It was coming right where the unit folds down. The spark was more pronounced when the unit was on high and then was switched off, than from low. When I turned out the lights, the spark was even more noticeable. Needless to say I didn't use the dryer for the rest of the trip. I wasn't sure if this was a voltage problem, so when I was back in the US I tried out the unit in the dark and the same spark happened. Amazon promptly sent me a replacement (Customer service was fast, friendly and great) but the replacement unit did the same thing. I returned both units and got a refund. Again, customer service was fast friendly and didn't give me a hard time about this problem. So I wouldn't recommend this product. But I learned that needing to return something to Amazon is rather straightforward. So buyer beware with this product.

Comment: Apparently my old hairdryer was pretty low quality because I LOVE this one. I have a ton of long hair and it only takes me about 3 minutes to full dry it. Great size and power. Obviously great for travel.
