Comment: I bought my printer directly from Epson as a refurb for $36. And it's worth it! I am actually happy with my printer. I print once a week maybe.
The color quality is good. It prints photos well and uses regular paper or fancy photo paper. It's quiet. The software is useful. The copier is just that--a copier and it does the job well.
Things to keep in mind:
The cartridges that come in the package only have enough ink for say, 10 pages off printouts. Once you get replacements, you'll be able to get several more (a lot more!) printouts.
Yes, the printer does print black using 4-color process. I don't know what genius came up with that. Although it does result in a richer black which is useful for photographs.
If you search for refillable cartridges on a certain auction website, you'll save money.
If you use the refillable cartridges, and only one cartridge needs to be replaced, you can't just swap out the one that needs more ink. All cartridges either need to be replaced or refilled. Which is what makes the refillable cartridges a smart buy.
Turn off the printer when you aren't using it. Leaving the power on results in the heat it generates drying out the ink cartridges and/or drying out the printer heads. Cleaning the printer heads results in lost ink.
If you're the occasional printer like me, buy a refurb directly from Epson.
Overall, I'm pleased with my bargain printer. This is perfect for home and occasional use--not everyday use.

Comment: The printer came in the original box with everything they stated it would have.The box and printer were in good condition from shipment.I received it in a timely manner.I just wish that the printers would come with the USB cord so that it would not have to be purchased separate.

Comment: Can get this cheap, but then pay through the nose for ink. Will not use after market inks. It is not worth the money you have to spend on ink to get this to work. Safe yourself the frustration.
