Comment: I bought this as a gift as an upgrade - I'd given a friend a triangle to ring upon completion of a task and she had tasks that deserved a richer sound - - SO I got her the GONG!

Chao Gong, 8", with beater; rich, full sound. It has a very earthy, grounding character with well resolved tones, both low and high. The bull's-eye pattern of the chao gong is the result of grinding away the fire-darkened surface to reveal the bright brass color. Made in China.
