Customer Rating: Summary: DesertDogReview Comment: This is an amazing tool! It's compact size enables it to be used in spaces otherwise too small for a hand held drill. Having it available for use in cabinet making is a real treat. The Li-ion battery has a capacity that exceeds the typical power pack - I have yet to exhaust the total charge during a day's use. The "bit holder collar" makes changing bits and drivers very convenient. GREAT VALUE!
Customer Rating: Summary: Powerful Homeowner Tool Comment: I am a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Homeowner who just purchase this powerful little sub compact driver. I own the Dewalt 7 volt driver and I compared the two. There is no comparison... The Milwaukee is a powerful, versatile "go to" tool that should be in every homeowners tool box. I don't buy cheap tools . you just get frustrated, bust your knuckels or botch the job you're working on. I compared the two drill/ drivers against a powerful corded drill by driving large screws (and I mean large for most homeowners) and using large drill bits in some seasoned old forest oak wood. The Milwaukee performance was strong and fast and will definitely handle most if not all jobs around the home. However don't throw away your 18 volt or corded drill, just put them up. I will be selling my Dewalt or consigning it to the tool shed.
Customer Rating: Summary: It's true that it's that good Comment: I'm sure I'm like all of buyers of this Milwaukee driver. I've compared Bosch PS20 and this one for a long time before I set my mind into this. I actually went to Home Depot and Howes and got them in my hands and played with them. After talking to one of the sales, he also said this Milwaukee product is better.
The battery fuel gauge may not sound neccessory. However when it has it u'll be surprised how many time you actually check it. it's only a tiny little bit heavier (0.2lbs) without battery. It's very well built, good torque and speed for such a small driver.
I sell and build computers. 500rpm doesn't sound impressive but it's the perfect speed for me after I try it. The LED on the front is a plus. Enough torque to screw/unscrew those big bolts used on rack mount.
Today I built 2 rack mounts and the battery fuel gauge shows that I still have 3 lights out of 4. I'm kinda impressed by the battery life.
I can't say this is definitely a better product compare with Bosch ps20 but I love it a lot only after 1 day of use. Highly recommand. Plus I like red and black other than boring blue by Bosch.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great All Around Drill-Driver Comment: I work in the handy-man and home repair field and also have my own home wood working shop. In my business, I need to have a large assortment of tools on board the vehicle, so size, functionality and reliability are key. I was a little concerned that a drill-driver with only 100 in-lbs of torque would be able to handle enough of my jobs. Anyway, given the good reviews and my own positive experience with Milwaukee tools, I decided to take a chance. Boy am I glad I did. This has turned out to be my favorite cordless tool. It handles 90% of the jobs where I need a drill/driver, while being easy to handle and always ready to go (the Li-ion batteries really hold a charge). It will drive a 3.5" deck screw in pine and is small enough to get into tight spaces. One of the features that does not get enough attention is the carry case. It is a padded canvas case so it is flexible enough to accommodate a lot of the accessories you need, as opposed to a hard case that limits what you can fit inside. I can include a bag of assorted tools like hinge bits and nut drivers, a hard case of hex drill bits, a hard case of screw bits and drivers, assorted spade bits, and a 3/8" hex bit chuck for when I need to use some of my non-hex drill bits. All this in a case about 8.5"x12.5"x3.5" (I think the product dimensions given above must be the size of the box it comes in). I've had this for 3 months now so I can't rate the longevity, but it sure seems to live up to the professional grade reputation of Milwaukee tools. I highly recommend this to both people in my line of work and the general consumer looking for a quality drill/driver.
Customer Rating: Summary: great item Comment: I am very pleased with the Milwaukee 2401-22 12V Li-ion Sub-Compact Driver Kit . It is a top quality product. I would deal with company again.
