Customer Rating: Summary: nice trial package Comment: I have been looking for a lip stain for what feels like forever. With my coloring, most lip stains make me look like I have been drinking cherry Kool-Aid. When I saw the different shades of this product, I knew I had to try it. While a few of the colors still were Kool-Aid-ish, I found a winner in Ameretto. The stain is easy to apply, dries quickly, and really does last a long time . . . though not all day in my experience. Customer Rating: Summary: Liptastic Comment: This was just what i needed. I am allergic to lanolin and have a hard time finding lipstick. I put this on under Vaseline and it stays on all day. The best part is I like more than one of the colors. They are very dark if you go full blast but you can control that by quickly blotting. Customer Rating: Summary: Fab-tini! Comment: When I ordered this item I was skeptical - I don't do much cosmetics shopping - but I made a great choice getting the Mini Bar. I ended up with more than one color I love, and bottles that will last quite a while despite their diminutive size. The stains have a nice, watery consistency that glides on and doesn't feel sticky. They dry quickly and the color deepens while it dries. One coat = beautiful, sheer, natural-looking color. Two coats and I'm ready for a saucy night out. My lips don't feel dry like they have when I've experimented with "long-wearing" lipcolor and I can put my fave balm over the stains with no color bleed. Fabbity-fab liptini!!! Comment: I felt compelled to write a review on this b/c the star rating is so poor; I completely disagree with the last reviewer; Of all the lip stains liptini and benetint are the best. Liptini has more staying power, is easier to apply, but it is a lot brighter than benetint; That being said it will look less natural if you apply too much; that can be good or bad- some people want a made up look- some want just a slight staining; This product can do both- if you want more natural than swipe the excess of at the top of the tube before applying or apply with your finger tip. Liptini does not beat out benetint when it comes to it's use as a cheek stain b/c of the vivid colors- but it's called "lip"tini for a reason; it's cheaper than benetint and you have a lot more varieties in color. I definitely recommend the purchase of this product; Especially if you have purchased stains before without testing the color in person; This package allows for at least one (for me many) good matches guaranteed.My favorite is Kirsh (very flattering) and it is the only stain I use now- b/c I no longer have to mix and match to create the color I get from this product. That being said- the tubes are good sized each- comparatively to benetint again- (if you get the mini benetint it is $15 dollars and it is very small!) These are very good sized being that they are supposed to be samples- and b/c of the lasting power I only apply once a day- I've been using one tube for well over 3-4 months and it's not going empty anytime soon.I apply in the morning and put a gloss on top; and throughout the day I'll reapply gloss and rub my lips to redistribute. Benetint definitely does not withstand the gloss test nearly as well as liptini; I am very suprised and dissapointed that this company isn't bigger than it is b/c the products are outstanding! It goes on very watery and it is extremely drying to the lips. All the colors look the same too.
