Summary: I like it
Comment: This camera has longer battery life compared to other point and shoot camera. I don't need to charge the battery everytime I want to go out. I use flash several times, yet the battery is still full.Image quality is good enough. It is a point-and-shoot camera after all.
Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with Casio and it is my first time using it. I've had this camera for 6 months now.

Summary: Buyer Beware
Comment: Research led me to the Casio Z200. I was very impressed with the written capabilites. Image quality is not on par with the Sony 7.1 mp I replaced. Not as focussed and the 28M or wide angle setting overly distorted pictures of buildings etc. However, as I became accustomed to the settings, the lens stopped working - it would not extend and closed only half way. Being only 10 days old, I was frustrated to have to send it back to the manufacturer at my cost while fall colors were happening. However, to have Casio come bakc and say that I must have dropped it and that I would have to pay almost the replacement price to have it repaired is unacceptable and leads me to believe that there is a serious engineering quality problem or flaw. I have had it returned to me (once again at my expense) and I will gladly send photos of the casio to anyone interesed to check for themselves that it doesn't have a nick or a scratch and was never dropped.

Comment: I was replacing my sony cybershot and needed a camera that didn't take "fuzzy" pics. This is the ONE...close ups, great zoom, multi-shots of a series...it is phenomenal. And So cute!! You won't be disappointed!

Summary: Lots of great features in a small package!
Comment: This is a great camera for anyone who wants to take great, high resolution pictures, but doesn't want to have to fuss with a lot camera controls to do it. It does give you lots of control if you want it, but it takes great pictures using the auto setting. It also has great zoom capabilities -- 4x optical/4x digital -- so the resolution is great. Finally, I bought it so I wouldn't have to lug my camcorder on vacation. This little guy takes great video on the fly. The video output is in *.mov format, which can be viewed with Quicktime or imported directly into iTunes. You can also use any video editing software to import the video and make movies. It's a small camera, so can fit in a shirt pocket, but personally it's a little big for me to put in my pants pocket.
