Summary: doesn't work with vista 64 bit
Comment: the "driver" disk that came with it only had a link to a maze of pages that eventually led to the right driver. then when i got the driver, it didn't work. checked device manager and it said there was an error with the driver and that it wont work. cell phone wont register as just a plain removeable drive like with cameras or ipods without a driver. so there is no way i can possibly gain access to my pictures that i want to e-mail to my friends and family. doubt it will work on vista 32 bit. but have read it works with windows xp. that means i have to spend 3 hours burning a copy of xp from my external hard drive then install it.
wont be buying a samsung anything ever again.

Summary: Cable works, but the software doesn't
Comment: The USB data cable works like a charm, but the software CD that came with the cable didn't have what I was looking for: namely, a means to download pictures and information from my cell phone so I could put it up for sale on eBay. The PDF file discussing drivers for doing so referred me [...], where I'll have to spend at least an extra US $[...] (as I currently recall the price) for software - downloadable or on CD - to do what I had wanted to do in the first place. Sucks, huh?
Buyer beware.

Summary: Cable works! Good price!
Comment: This cable works on my SCH-u410. It's a good cable for about $6. It came with a CD of drivers, wallpapers, and ringtones.
As for connecting it... Samsung PC Studio would not recognize a connection with the phone, but BitPim did using the SCH-u470 option instead.
